Every Saturday from 6 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., you'll find the Patis St Lazare market, a popular meeting place for many of the town's western residents.
The area is very quiet, with a number of small shops (butcher, baker, bank, post office....). There are also many mancelles, typical local houses built side by side on small, narrow plots.
Setram bus line 4 will take you to the city center, where you can take the tramway to the university and the 24 Hours of Le Mans race track via Gare Nord station.
